Last night Jonas and I took a needed mini vacation from working and enjoyed a home cooked pasta dinner, bottle of wine, walk in the rain, and (part of) a movie. The wine not only had a cool label, but it was really tasty and moderately priced at around $16.
The dinner and drink choice was partially inspired by the movie we have been watching since last week ... Mid August Lunch. An Italian film from 2008 about a man who ends up looking after four elderly women, including his mother in exchange for a little financial help. It usually takes us a while to finish a movie, even if it is good. We are still only about halfway through this one, but are enjoying it thoroughly.
